So what is connection between blue balls and sex? Have you ever heard

“Blue balls” is the slang term which many guys and girls use referring to testicular aching that may occur when the blood that fills the vessels in a male’s genital area during sexual arousal is not satisfied by orgasm.

are more constricted than in a non-aroused state.

testicles increase in size by 25-50 percent of what they normally would be.

When the male reaches orgasm and ejaculates, the arteries and veins return to
normal size and the volume of blood in the genitals is reduced and the
penis and testicles return to their usual size very quickly.

If ejaculation does not happen there is usually a lingering sensation of
heaviness, aching, or discomfort in the testicles due to the continued
build up. This unpleasant feeling has been called blue
balls, between many people for many years. But also because of the bluish tint that appears when blood engorges the vessels in the testicles.
