Anal sex myths

If you have ever considered trying out anal sex for the first time, chances are you are miss-informed about the whole practice. Many people do actually have anal sex, and I’m not just talking about what you see in a porn movie. One in four women these days have tried it at least once in their lifetime. Anal sex is quite a safe practice when done carefully and in the right way. There are also some myths that many people hear about the practice of anal sex, in which you might have heard one time or another, and the truths that will help you out if you want to give it a go.

First myth- many people believe the anus is the filth of the body

Fact- Whilst the anus is a part of the body waste center , if you practice hygienic
habits, then this area is no dirtier than the rest of your body. If you are still not convinced you can always wash the inside with a douching kit, having an enema or use an anal cleanser.

Myth 2- Anal sex causes hemorrhoids

Truth- Not possible people. No more said

Myth3-Anal sex causes incontinence

Truth- Again not possible. You only become that way from nerve or muscle damage. Usually its the brain failing the body as to why it can happen.

Myth 3- Anal sex is painful

Truth- So is normal sex (vaginal sex if you aren’t well lubricated!)
Plenty of lubricant is needed. Alot Patience is also required and infact is a must, as the anus is very tight and needs relaxing and getting used to being stretched. It is completely the opposite to vaginal sex. Sorry fellas, you cannot just put it in and start hammering it the same way.

Myth 3- Anal sex is only for homosexual people

Truth-Yes many homosexual men do practice anal sex, but you will be surprised to know not all choose to do it. So you see its a choice for the individuals.
For a very long time people have been having anal sex whether they are straight or gay.

So after some of the myths have now come to light, only you yourself can decide if you want to try it or give it a miss..

If you like the idea, you could try out some small anal toys such as butt plugs or
beads, just to introduce her to anal stimulation before going the whole hog.
You never know she may enjoy it more than she though she would.

But it should never be done by pressure or by your own selfish wanting.

But if you do choose to go ahead with it, the smartest options would be the use of condoms

anal sex

In several cultures anal intercourse by heterosexual partners is widely accepted.

One main reason is to avoid any unwanted pregnancies, with out contraceptives.

Athough this is not a 100% guarantee, since semen can leak from the anus, and enter the vagina.

Also, anal sex is even sometimes seen as preserving female virginity, because it leaves the hymen intact. Another reason is that the anus is considered to to be more pleasurable for the penis, being tighter than the vagina.

Determining the amount of people that engage in anal sex, and the frequency with which they do so, is not easy to put a number on.

Sexual surveys reflect whether those surveyed have ever had anal sex, or whether they have had anal sex in the last year, instead of distinguishing those who have tried it one or a few times and those who have anal sex on a regular basis.

Other surveys suggest that seven times as many women, as gay men practise in anal sex, a figure that shows the greater overall heterosexual population.

In numbers, it is hypothesized that more heterosexual couples have anal sex than homosexual couples.

Anal sex exposes participants to two principal dangers:

Infections, due to the high number of infectious micro organisms not found elsewhere on the body, and physical damage to the anus and the rectum due to their vulnerability.

Recent reports have documented that risky beahaviour is on the rise with men who have sex with men. The same among men who have sex with women.

Less than 40% of males use condoms when having anal sex, which leads to infectous disease, if they have had more than one partner or are in an open relationship and practising unsafe sex.

The diseases with which anal sex is associated are HIV,typhoid fever and other diseases associated with the infectious nature of fecal matter .

Or sexual intercourse in general. Among these are: Chlamydia, E. coli infections, Gonorrhea, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Human Pubic lice, Shigella, Syphilis, Tuberculosis, just to name a few.

condoms

The high level of white blood cells around the bottom, together with the risk of cuts to the rectum and that one of the functions of the anus is to absorb fluid,

Increases the risk of HIV transmission because the HIV retrovirus reproduces within the immune system.

Use of condoms, and other precautions are always advised to lessen risk of infections. Unprotected anal sex is the most risky sexual behavior in terms of HIV transmission.

Physical damage to bottoms can cause hemmoroids, fissures (anal tears inside)

and the lack of using lube can cause more problems.

Most sex positions can be done anally, especially those that involve entry from behind. Other sexual practices involving the vagina, such as fingers can also be practised anally.

Although some positions are not easy because of the different angles needed for anal and vaginal entry.

Here are listed positions that work well for anal sex.

Doggy stlye- This position maximizes the depth of penetration, which may be enjoyed by either or both partners, but can pose the risk of pushing against the colon.

If the receiving partner is male, this increases the chances of stimulating the prostate. This position allows for intense thrusting

Another is the leapfrog position, in which the receiving partner angles their torso downward. The receiving partner may also lie flat and face down, with the penetrating partner straddling their thighs.

Spoons-This allows the receiving partner to greatly control initial entry and the depth, speed and force of subsequent thrusting.

Recieving partner on top- These are sometimes used as a good beginning position, as they allow the receiving partner more control over the depth, rhythm and speed of penetration. More specifically, the receptive partner can slowly push their anus down on the penetrator, allowing time for their muscles to relax.

But hey each to their own desires, this just points out the risk factors.

What ever floats your boats guys and girls.

Safe sex is a must and to have sex anally with out it is just very unresponsible.

Have fun
